We visually assess accessible areas, discuss your concerns, and look for signs of moisture that may contribute to mold growth. We do not provide mold sampling or laboratory testing.

Mold remediation

We provide a written proposal describing the recommended work for the affected areas. Our approach may include containment, removal of affected materials, and cleaning, depending on the project.

Communication throughout

We explain the scope, discuss access and preparation, and keep you informed as the work progresses.

Our process

  1. Visual assessment. We review accessible areas for visible mold and moisture concerns, and discuss your property's history.
  2. Written proposal. We explain the recommended remediation, scope of work, and estimated cost. We identify moisture issues that need correction and clarify any work requiring another contractor.
  3. Remediation. We carry out the agreed work using appropriate containment, cleaning, and removal methods for the project.
  4. Completion review. We review the completed work and discuss moisture control and next steps. We recommend using a qualified independent third-party inspector for post-remediation clearance on every remediation project. Any clearance inspection or testing must be handled by a separate qualified provider. D. R. Meyer Mold LLC does not perform mold sampling or laboratory testing.

Do you perform mold testing?

No. We provide visual mold assessment and remediation. We recommend a qualified independent third-party inspector for post-remediation clearance on every remediation project. Sampling, laboratory analysis, and clearance testing are separate services provided by an independent provider.

What affects the cost?

The affected area, access, materials involved, and scope of removal and cleaning determine the proposal. Contact us to request a free estimate.

Can moisture cause mold to return?

Moisture problems need to be corrected as part of preventing future growth. We explain the concerns identified during our assessment and which repairs fall within or outside the proposed work.
